Bahia wins Atlético-MG and Inter follows Brasileirão leader

Bahia wins Atlético-MG

Atlético-MG lost a good chance to stay in the lead of the Brasileirão by wasting many goals against Bahia. He went ahead and totally dominated the game, but he sinned too much in the submissions and saw the brave rival look for the turn. With 3 to 1, the Bahians leave the relegation zone. Striker Gilberto left the bench to be the hero of the night.

The miners dominated, pressed for most of the game, but, without capriciousness, let out precious points in a game in which they controlled the match for 65 minutes.

After being completely dominated and leaving behind the marker, Bahia was reborn in a game that seemed unlikely to turn thanks to two changes in the interval. Gilberto and Marco Antônio came in to guarantee a 3-1 turn at the base of the counterattack.

With the defeat, Atlético-MG fell to third place, with 31 points, but still has a game less than Inter, new leader of the table, and Flamengo. Bahia reaches 19 points, moving up to 12th place.
