Between early July and early September, eight attacks were recorded near Grendelbruch. 14 sheep and goats were killed. They belonged to two professional breeders and two amateur breeders. “The expertises carried out by the departmental direction of the territories of Bas-Rhin all concluded that the responsibility of the wolf could not be excluded” , specifies the prefecture. The breeders will be compensated for the loss of their animals.
